Central Office/Data Center Installer Level 3
Nationwide Travel Pay Rate: $28.00 - $29.00 per hour
The Level 3 Installer will perform all basic and intermediate installation work activities in central office environments. The Installer will be coached and mentored as needed.
Skills/General Duties:
- The Installer must clearly understand the installation and decommissioning of data center equipment.
- Labeling - create and apply accurate labels to cables and equipment.
- Installing various types of cables (including fiber optic and copper) while adhering to industry standards and color codes.
- Terminating RJ45 connectors on cables (to ensure reliable network connections).
- Working with power distribution units (PDUs), fiber optic cables, copper cables, and patch panels to ensure optimal network performance (preferred skill).
