Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

As a key member of the educational team, you will work onsite for 37.5 hours each week, engaging with high schoolers to help them achieve their academic and personal goals. You’ll have the chance to utilize your expertise, creativity, and compassion to create positive educational experiences and lasting memories for your students.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching Certification (required)
- Experience teaching or student-teaching in special education at the high school level
- Strong classroom management, organizational, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to tailor instruction to meet individual students’ needs
- Collaborative attitude and willingness to work with fellow educators, specialists, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Adapt lesson plans and instructional strategies to accommodate various learning styles
- Provide direct instruction and classroom support to students with special needs
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment that promotes student confidence and success
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and school guidelines
- Collaborate regularly with colleagues, families, and support personnel
