Plaintiff-Side Litigation AttorneyA well-established plaintiffs' litigation firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its Dallas office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with a strong plaintiff-side personal injury background who wants to work on complex, high-value litigation involving sophisticated case strategy, expert witnesses, and significant damages.The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of plaintiff-side litigation experience involving matters such as toxic torts, mass torts, product liability, pharmaceutical or medical device litigation, catastrophic injury, or sexual assault litigation.The firm will also consider accomplished plaintiff-side attorneys whose experience has primarily involved motor vehicle accidents, trucking accidents, premises liability, or other personal injury matters, provided they have strong litigation and case-development skills and are interested in transitioning into more complex cases.Trial experience is preferred but not required. Attorneys with substantial case work-up experience who are eager to develop their courtroom and trial experience are encouraged to apply.This position offers an opportunity to move beyond high-volume personal injury work and become involved in complex, expert-intensive plaintiff litigation. The successful candidate will have meaningful responsibility for case strategy, discovery, depositions, expert development, and trial preparation while working alongside experienced litigators.Key ResponsibilitiesManage plaintiff-side litigation matters from initial evaluation through resolutionConduct detailed case evaluations and factual investigationsDevelop case strategy and identify key liability and damages issuesDraft and respond to written discoveryResearch and draft substantive motions, briefs, and other pleadingsPrepare for and take depositionsWork closely with expert witnesses, including identifying, preparing, and coordinating expertsAnalyze medical records, damages, liability evidence, and other complex case materialsPrepare cases for mediation, settlement negotiations, and trialParticipate in trials and other court proceedingsCommunicate effectively with clients throughout the litigation processCollaborate with partners, attorneys, paralegals, experts, and other members of the litigation teamRequirements:JD from an accredited law schoolActive Texas Bar membership and good standing3–5 years of litigation experiencePlaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience strongly preferredStrong experience with discovery, motion practice, depositions, and case preparationExperience working with expert witnesses highly desirableExcellent legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skillsAbility to independently manage significant portions of complex litigation mattersStrong attention to detail and case-management skillsPreferred ExperienceExperience in one or more of the following areas is particularly desirable:Toxic tort litigationMass tort litigationProduct liabilityPharmaceutical or medical device litigationCatastrophic injurySexual assault litigationComplex personal injury litigationCommercial trucking accidents
