POSITION DESCRIPTION We are seeking a general liability and/or professional liability litigation associate with 3+ years of experience to join our San Francisco office. As a general liability and professional liability attorney at LBBK, you will defend clients across a broad range of matters with direct partner mentorship, meaningful client contact, and real opportunities for practice development and professional growth. RESPONSIBILITIES Defend clients in a broad range of general liability and professional liability matters, including premises liability, products liability, errors and omissions, and related claims Investigate general liability and professional liability claims and defenses, analyze liability and damages, and develop case handling strategies Conduct legal research and analysis in support of general liability and professional liability defense strategies Draft letters, memos, motions, and pleadings across general liability and professional liability practice areas Prepare discovery requests/responses and take/defend depositions Represent clients at court conferences, hearings, mediations, and trial/arbitration in San Francisco-area state and federal courts Communicate regularly with partners, associates, paralegals, clients, and opposing counsel Meet a 1,850 annual billable hours requirement COMPENSATION Base salary of $150,000 – $200,000 annually, depending on experience.
