About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, 87144!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 10 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: New Mexico license can be pending at time of submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (must have TNCC in hand at time of submission) Must-Have: Must work 2 out of 3 of the holiday bundles (Thanksgiving & the day after, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, New Year's Eve & New Year's Day). Description: Candidates must have experience in a full-service emergency department. The facility is a Level III Trauma Center and a Level I Teaching facility. Patient ratios are typically 1:4. Minimum requirement includes 4 weekend shifts per schedule period, which may vary based on department needs. Candidates must possess skills in blood product administration, starting IVs, and care of ventilated patients. Experience in trauma settings, both level I and II, is preferred. The role does not require floating to different departments. Religious and medical exemptions for COVID-19 vaccination are accepted with proper documentation. Candidates should have experience with charting systems, specifically Cerner. The patient population includes neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The department has a daily census of approximately 70 visits. Additional unit information includes interdisciplinary support from various specialties. Special procedures and equipment include tele-neuro, tele-psych, and traction devices. Preferred experience includes charge experience and travel experience. Candidates with prior travel experience are preferred. Please ensure all requirements are met before applying.
