Details Cath Lab unit performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures 36 hours per week on 4x10 day shift schedule (7:00 AM-5:30 PM) On-call requirement of 8-12 days per month for STEMI or vascular cases Floating to similar units within scope may be required based on facility needs, with brief orientation provided Requirements Active RN license (NM or Compact) required, pending license accepted if obtained prior to start Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; RCIS preferred Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required Skilled in cardioversion, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, and procedural sedation monitoring Experience with diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, left and right heart catheterization, and PA line/Swan Ganz monitoring Scrub procedure and medication administration/monitoring skills preferred Additional Information Provide direct patient care in a cardiac cath lab setting including circulating and scrub procedures Complete onsite orientation modules (approximately 4-6 hours for RNs) Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for the position Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler First-time travelers are welcome to apply for this position No more than 4 days of RTO can be auto-approved at time of submission American Traveler Job ID P-754211.
