Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately identify patient needs, concerns, and treatment goals.
• Create individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups to provide community support for clients coping with common mental health challenges.
• Offer crisis intervention services and manage mental health emergencies with professionalism and care.
• Maintain accurate, secure, and confidential patient records in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.
• Engage in regular case consultations and participate actively in team meetings to enhance collaborative patient care.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding mental health disorders, treatment paths, and available community resources.
• Stay current on research and advancements in mental health therapy to integrate new knowledge into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a therapist at Fusion Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse clientele that includes individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds and age groups. Our patients often experience challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use issues. Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
• Deep understanding of mental health conditions and familiarity with evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Demonstrated experience conducting mental health assessments and crafting effective treatment strategies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Strong ethical judgment with a dedication to maintaining personal and professional boundaries.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technologies for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing telehealth services and familiarity with digital platforms for mental health service delivery.
• Prior experience in leading group therapy sessions or conducting psychoeducational workshops.

Compensation and Benefits
