Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and contribute to the month-end close process. Key Responsibilities Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliations Prepare and maintain general ledger account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies Assist with preparation of financial statements and internal management reports Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including accruals, prepaids, and fixed asset accounting Analyze account activity and variances, providing explanations to senior team members Support accounts payable and receivable functions, as needed Assist with audit requests by preparing schedules and gathering supporting documentation Maintain and follow internal controls, policies, and procedures Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements within the accounting function Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required 1-3+ years of accounting experience (internship or public accounting exposure is a plus) Basic understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting Experience supporting month-end close activities preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data organization, formulas, basic analysis) Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, etc.) is a plus Skills & Attributes Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Analytical mindset with a willingness to learn and grow Strong written and verbal communication skills Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across departments Pay Details Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled EEO Statement The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: The California Fair Chance Act Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance Massachusetts Candidates Only It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
