The Packager, Towelettes is responsible for monitoring pre‑moistened towelettes being manufactured by machine, inspecting these products for quality, and hand‑packaging them in accordance with Hilco Vision’s quality standards. The shift for this role is 6:30 am – 3:00 pm and requires the ability to lift 20 lbs, stand for long periods of time, and complete repetitive motions. Adhere to all organizational safety practices including following appropriate procedures and the proper wearing of required PPE in designated areas Attention to detail and processes in order to reach a common goal of producing a great product for all customers Able to utilize a computer with MS Windows systems and web‑based applications Read, write, speak and understand English in order to comprehend specification sheets for customer orders and complete quality sheets Learn new processes and procedures – willing to jump in and help, as well as learn more skills in order to grow 1 – 3 years of related production experience Responsibilities Monitor machine production for pre‑moistened towelette wipes and folding boxes for each job Visually inspect the quality of the product for leaks, correct alignment, artwork, and all other defects Verify the weight of finished product using the scales provided to ensure accurate volume of liquid is applied to the wipe and the correct number of wipes are packed in the box Refer to order specification sheets to ensure product is properly packed, all labeling is properly applied, and all labels contain accurate information Perform other department and job‑related duties as assigned Physical Requirements This role requires the ability to lift 20 – 40 lbs, stand for long periods of time, and move quickly Benefits Weekly Pay Safety footwear reimbursement PPE provided by the organization (safety glasses, etc.) Referral bonus equal to $1,000 Medical, dental, and vision coverage Paid time off 401K Savings plan Robust EAP program Incentive Plan Attendance – Employee must have worked 85% (148 hours) of the working days in a given month for the home department earning the incentive Productivity – Must have efficiency of more than 85% minimum for the month Violations – If an employee receives a write‑up due to a policy violation or quality issue, they will not be eligible for the incentive for that month Employment – Must be a full‑time Hilco employee for more than 30 days and be actively employed on the date of the incentive payout to receive it Qualifications Preferred: High School or better.
