Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 3 years of home health experience and strong clinical and assessment skills for an adult home health assignment.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in adult home health and hospice within the community setting
• Covers 5-6 adult clients per day in their homes
• Eight-hour day shifts required; weekend rotations are expected
• No 10-hour shift flexibility available
• Work schedule includes potential work any day from Monday to Sunday
• Candidate must be flexible to cover holidays
• Main responsibilities include providing skilled physical therapy care to adult clients in their homes
• Flexible to cover assigned weekends and holidays as needed
• No block scheduling is allowed under any circumstance
• Bi-weekly orientation provided on Mondays
• Candidates must ensure all employment gaps over 90 days are addressed
• A complete and detailed work history is required for consideration
• This position does not accommodate first-time travelers; prior travel experience is required

Requirements

• Current PT license required if applicable; Vermont license not required prior to start but applicant must apply within 24 hours of offer, and New York candidates considered with proof of pending licensure
• Minimum 3 years of recent clinical experience in home health required
• At least two prior travel assignments strongly preferred
• Proficiency with multiple EMR systems required
• Strong clinical and assessment skills necessary
• Reliable personal vehicle or rental vehicle required due to lack of public transportation
• Vehicles must be equipped with all-season or snow tires November through April
