Travel RN – Cardiac ICU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights (5:00 PM – 5:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed Cardiac ICU setting at a 1:2 RN-to-patient ratio
• Perform and assist with procedures including intubations and central line placement
• Operate and monitor cardiac monitoring systems, ventilators, IV pumps, tube feed pumps, and Swan catheters
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic medical records system
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including charge nurses and patient care technicians across night shift operations

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care ICU hospital experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with neurological and medical ICU patient populations
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a strong emphasis on patient care quality
