Position: Legal Expert — Civil Litigator (Deposition Transcript Review)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $120–$140/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20+ hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Evaluate a full rough deposition transcript of roughly 250 pages to author reference answers for AI model measurement.
- Write gold-standard answers to about 100 questions, citing support by page and line.
- Complete eight short litigation tasks derived from the same transcript.
- Prepare all gold answers independently, noting any AI tool usage only for navigation.
- Own every answer end to end to ensure consistent judgment across all questions and tasks.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Practicing civil litigator with experience in taking and defending 50+ depositions .
- Expertise in commercial, contract, or personal injury litigation.
- Comfortable working from a long rough transcript and citing it precisely by page and line.
- J.D. and licensed to practice law in the U.S.
