Join Chris Auffenberg Kia as a Automotive Service Consultant / Advisor in Cape Girardeau, MO. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for service, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth, efficient service experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously as they arrive for service appointments.
• Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document service requests.
• Provide clear and professional explanations of needed repairs and maintenance to customers.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
• Coordinate service schedules and work closely with the service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Prepare and review repair orders, including parts, labor, and warranty information.
• Communicate any changes in vehicle condition and additional required services to customers.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and services performed.
• Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.

Requirements

• Previous experience in automotive service consultation or customer service preferred BUT DEFINITELY NOT REQUIRED!
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple customer interactions.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and repairs is a plus.
• Proficient in using computers and service management software.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
