Position Summary The Director of Operations will play a central role in designing, implementing, and leading the operational systems that enable Entrega to scale as a high-performance professional services organization. This role is responsible for building the operating system of the company - connecting delivery operations, business operations, and internal execution into a cohesive, scalable framework. The Director of Operations will work closely with executive leadership to bring structure, discipline, and clarity to how work moves across the organization - from client engagement through delivery and into production. This is not a purely administrative operations role. The ideal candidate is a builder of systems and operational frameworks, capable of translating business strategy into structured execution. This individual will drive operational consistency, strengthen cross-functional alignment, and establish the processes and governance required for predictable delivery and scalable growth. The Director of Operations will partner closely with leadership across delivery, finance, client services, and internal business functions to ensure the organization operates with clarity, accountability, and efficiency. Role scope may evolve in alignment with business needs. Operating Model & Organizational Execution Design and implement the operational framework that defines how work flows across the organization. Establish clear operating structures that connect client engagement, delivery, and production execution. Define and enforce how work moves across teams, including ownership, sequencing, and accountability. Introduce clarity into decision rights, escalation paths, and cross-functional coordination. Strengthen organizational discipline around execution, follow-through, and accountability. Partner with executive leadership to evolve the company’s operating model as the business scales. Delivery Operations Leadership Strengthen the operational systems that support Entrega’s client delivery organization. Design and implement operational structures supporting project-based and ongoing service delivery. Improve coordination across delivery leadership, project management, and production teams. Introduce operational discipline into the delivery lifecycle, from initiation through execution and closeout. Support the development of governance models that promote accountability, delivery quality, and consistency. Ensure delivery operations scale effectively as the organization grows. Business Operations & Internal Infrastructure Build and strengthen the internal operational backbone that supports the company’s performance. Establish structured workflows across internal business functions to improve coordination and reliability. Improve operational clarity across functions such as contract administration, vendor coordination, and internal support services. Identify gaps in internal execution and implement systems that improve organizational effectiveness. Support leadership in strengthening the infrastructure required to operate and scale the business. Ensure internal operations evolve in alignment with company growth and complexity. Operational Systems & Process Design Design scalable processes that drive consistency, efficiency, and clarity across the organization. Build structured workflows that support delivery execution and internal coordination. Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions that improve efficiency and alignment. Develop frameworks that clarify how work progresses through the organization. Introduce standards that improve predictability, performance, and execution quality. Establish tools, systems, and processes that support disciplined operations. Project & Delivery Operations Infrastructure Strengthen the operational foundation that supports project execution and delivery teams. Implement consistent processes for project setup, delivery administration, and coordination. Improve operational support structures enabling delivery leaders to focus on client outcomes. Strengthen discipline around project lifecycle management and internal coordination. Support the development of reporting that improves visibility into project health and performance. Operational Visibility & Performance Insight Create transparency into how the organization is operating and performing. Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide visibility into delivery performance and operational health. Improve insight into project performance, resource utilization, and delivery capacity. Surface operational risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities to leadership. Ensure operational insights drive informed, data‑driven decision‑making. Cross-Functional Leadership Drive alignment and coordination across departments to support company performance. Partner with delivery leadership to improve coordination across client-facing teams. Collaborate with finance to align operational systems with financial discipline and reporting. Work with leadership across functions to ensure operational clarity and accountability. Lead cross-functional initiatives that strengthen organizational execution. Qualifications The following qualifications reflect the experience, capabilities, and attributes typically required to perform successfully in this role. 10–15+ years of progressive operational leadership experience, preferably within professional services, consulting, technology services, digital agencies, systems integration firms, or similar environments. Demonstrated experience building or transforming operational systems in organizations where project delivery, resource coordination, and cross‑functional execution are critical. Strong understanding of service delivery operations, including project lifecycle management, delivery coordination, and client‑facing execution models. Experience designing or improving operating models, governance structures, and organizational workflows. Proven ability to translate business strategy into structured operational systems and execution frameworks. Experience working cross‑functionally with delivery, finance, and executive leadership to align operations with business performance. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to diagnose operational issues and implement practical solutions. Experience building or improving operational reporting, dashboards, and performance visibility systems. Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives and drive organizational alignment. Experience operating effectively in dynamic, growth‑oriented environments where systems are still being built. Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills, particularly with senior stakeholders. High level of systems thinking, operational discipline, and execution focus.
