Job Title: Quality Lab Technician – 2nd Shift

Start Pay Rate : $21.00 - $25.00/Hour – Paid every Friday.

Schedule: 1st Shift: Monday to Thursday (Four-10-days plus overtime as needed) - 5:30 PM – 4:00 AM

Job Summary:

The Quality Control Lab Technician is responsible for performing chemical testing, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting quality control processes, and ensuring products meet established specifications and regulatory requirements. This role supports laboratory operations, production teams, and R&D activities by analyzing materials, maintaining quality records, and identifying potential issues to ensure product safety, consistency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure product quality and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records required for audits and quality control systems.
• Create and maintain formulas and batch sheets.
• Verify raw materials and ensure they match setup sheets.
• Perform quality testing on raw materials, in-process, and finished products to ensure specifications are met.
• Conduct chemical and solution testing (including concentration, specific gravity, titration, and related analyses).
• Prepare, label, organize, and store product samples according to safety and quality standards.
• Send product samples to customers as required.
• Record and document all test results and procedures using standardized forms.
• Analyze data and prepare reports for management review.
• Support R&D activities including formulation development, process improvements, and manufacturing support.
• Maintain RO water testing and related documentation.
• Maintain equipment logs, calibration records, and daily work documentation.
• Clean, maintain, and recalibrate laboratory equipment as needed.
• Ensure lab and work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with GMP standards.
• Identify, report, and escalate any nonconformance or safety concerns.
• Support the Quality and Production teams as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a chemical manufacturing or laboratory environment is required and must be clearly demonstrated on the resume to be considered.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and strictly adhere to established procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in basic math concepts (fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions, etc.).
• Computer skills required, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Data entry experience required.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
