School Psychologist – Full-Time | 2026–2027 School Year
Location: Portland, Oregon

A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available in the Portland, Oregon area for the 2026–2027 school year. This position focuses on providing comprehensive psychological services that support students' academic achievement, social-emotional well-being, and behavioral success. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students with academic, behavioral, social, or emotional concerns.
Analyze assessment results and communicate findings clearly to families, teachers, and school personnel.
Participate in the development, implementation, and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 Plans.
Consult with teachers, administrators, and support staff to develop effective intervention strategies and classroom accommodations.
Support the implementation of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks.
Provide short-term counseling, behavioral interventions, and crisis support as appropriate.
Collaborate with school teams to promote positive student outcomes and school-wide wellness initiatives.
Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.
Qualifications
Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
Oregon School Psychologist license or certification, or eligibility to obtain appropriate state credentials.
Experience conducting psychological assessments and providing educational and behavioral consultation.
Strong understanding of IDEA, Section 504, and applicable federal and state special education regulations.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in K–12 school settings.
Familiarity with electronic documentation systems and student data management platforms.
Experience supporting MTSS initiatives and evidence-based behavioral interventions.
