This position is part of a team responsible for accounting and consolidation of Crocs entities. This includes maintenance of an accurate and timely system of accounting which includes a comprehensive set of internal controls, preparing periodic financial reports, working with auditors on the financial statements, and supporting the business by providing reliable data. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, can adopt to quick changes, willing to find root causes to a problem and proactively improve the processes.Execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures, inclusive of preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations, and participating in and preparing for quarter trial balance variance reviewsAssist with the preparation of external audit requests with efficiency and effective communicationContinuously find ways to improve departmental quality through creating efficiencies, streamlining repetitive processes, and using technologyAbility to comprehend complex accounting topics and determine the appropriate treatment as required under US GAAPWork closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis, Treasury, Payroll, and Tax teamsPerform ad hoc duties and analysis as needed to support corporate functionsMaintain documentation in compliance with internal and external requirements ensuring adherence to SOX controlsSupport strategic initiatives and other key accounting and finance goals, fostering a positive accounting team and professional culture in a fast paced and evolving environmentParticipate in and promote a culture of continuous learning and professional developmentBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, CPA a plus5+ years of accounting experience, public accounting experience a plusStrong financial process experience, including financial close, reporting, internal controls, and working with independent auditorsTechnical knowledge of US GAAPExperience with SOX / Internal ControlsForeign currency experience at a multi-national public companyKnowledge of ERP systems, SAP a plusStrong analytical skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is requiredThe Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to a diverse and inclusive work environment.
