What You'll Do Execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures, inclusive of preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations, and participating in and preparing for quarter trial balance variance reviews Assist with the preparation of external audit requests with efficiency and effective communication Continuously find ways to improve departmental quality through creating efficiencies, streamlining repetitive processes, and using technology Ability to comprehend complex accounting topics and determine the appropriate treatment as required under US GAAP Work closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis, Treasury, Payroll, and Tax teams Perform ad hoc duties and analysis as needed to support corporate functions Maintain documentation in compliance with internal and external requirements ensuring adherence to SOX controls Support strategic initiatives and other key accounting and finance goals, fostering a positive accounting team and professional culture in a fast paced and evolving environment Participate in and promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development What You'll Bring to the Table Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, CPA a plus 5+ years of accounting experience, public accounting experience a plus Strong financial process experience, including financial close, reporting, internal controls, and working with independent auditors Technical knowledge of US GAAP Experience with SOX / Internal Controls Foreign currency experience at a multi-national public company Knowledge of ERP systems, SAP a plus Strong analytical skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required LI-Onsite The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to a diverse and inclusive work environment. Title: Sr. Accountant Salary or Pay Range: $87,000 - $97,000 Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
