You’ll serve as a key partner to the Finance Director, help strengthen internal controls, and support a growing, multi-state operation with modern systems and clear processes. What You’ll Actually Do: Lead multi-state payroll processing, including bi-weekly payroll runs and related journal entries Own multi-state sales and use tax compliance, including setup, filings, payments, and reporting Perform month-end close responsibilities, including general ledger reconciliations and variance analysis Prepare and issue customer invoices based on contract schedules and project milestones Manage accounts receivable activities and support timely collections Review and approve accounts payable work and vendor payments Partner with the Finance Director on special projects, process improvements, and ad hoc financial support To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 5+ years of accounting experience, including payroll Proven expertise in multi-state payroll and sales tax compliance Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally Comfort working in cloud-based accounting and collaboration tools Where and How Much: Target Compensation $85K - $95K DOE + Discretionary bonus Hybrid – Monday/Tuesday/Thursday in Louisville office 50% Employer-paid benefits including dependents – increases by 10% each year | PTO | 401K w/ 3% match #J-18808-Ljbffr J2T Recruiting
