Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing company to fill their open Senior Accountant job in Westminster, CO. To qualify, you must have at least 4 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role. This is a TEMPORARY job opportunity that is expected to last at least 6 months. Depending on your performance and our client’s future hiring needs, this role may get extended and/or result in a permanent position in the company. You will earn between $40.00 and $48.00 in this role. You will also be able to sign up for LHH’s benefits programs (details below). Responsibilities Reconciling accounts Preparing and analyzing financial statements Preparing for audits Mentoring and coaching junior accounting staff Reviewing journal entries Managing month-end and year-end close processes Supporting budgeting and forecasting as needed Managing process improvement initiatives Maintaining compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and all relevant laws and regulations All other related tasks as required Qualifications At least 4 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Excellent attention to detail Excellent analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Previous experience with SAP preferred Advanced Excel skills: VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas, etc. Compensation Hourly rate between $40.00 and $48.00 LHH benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
