Senior Accountant

Compensation: $80K–$100K + performance bonus opportunity JC Porter is searching for a Senior Accountant for a growing industrial distribution and assembly organization in the Denver metro area. This is a hands-on accounting role for someone who understands true double-entry accounting and wants the opportunity to grow with a stable, expanding business. This role is ideal for someone who has strong general ledger knowledge, wants broader exposure to the business, and is looking for a position where they can learn, take on more responsibility, and work closely with leadership. About This Role The Senior Accountant will support day-to-day accounting, general ledger activity, reconciliations, reporting, and ERP-driven accounting processes. The company operates in a specialized technical distribution environment, with both buy-and-resell activity and assembly/made-to-order work. This is a highly visible role with direct interaction with the CFO and company leadership. The right person will be detail-oriented, curious, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a smaller team environment where they can make a meaningful impact. Key Responsibilities Own general ledger accounting activities and ensure accurate double-entry accounting Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close support Work within an ERP system to track accounting activity, transactions, and reporting Support accounting for inventory, purchasing, sales, and assembly-related activity Assist with financial reporting, variance review, and account analysis Help improve accounting processes, controls, and ERP workflows Partner closely with leadership on accounting questions, reporting needs, and business updates Support special projects as the company continues to grow and expand What We’re Looking For Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and double-entry accounting concepts Prior accounting experience in distribution, manufacturing, assembly, inventory, or product-based businesses preferred Ability to work independently while staying connected with leadership Pharmaceutical, high-purity, technical product, or regulated-industry Experience with ERP systems used in distribution, assembly, or manufacturing environments Inventory, cost accounting, or product-based accounting exposure Experience supporting month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting This is a strong opportunity for an accountant who wants more than a narrow desk role and is ready to grow with a business where their work will be noticed. #J-18808-Ljbffr JC Porter
