Maverick Trading is hiring a fully remote Equity & Options Trader open to applicants in Kingwood, TX. We are a 25+ year proprietary trading firm that allocates firm capital to disciplined traders and scales buying power based on performance and risk management. Trading from Texas and the Southwest: Trade US markets from your local time — the NYSE opens at 8:30am Central and closes mid-afternoon. Texas is now home to one of the fastest-growing financial industries in the country, with major firms relocating to Dallas and Houston. Central Time gives you a 8:30am market open with an early afternoon close. This is not a challenge account. Not a demo evaluation. We provide structured capital allocation for traders who want a professional path to scaling capital. What you will do: Trade equities and options within defined risk parameters Follow a structured, rules-based risk management approach Build consistency and scale capital based on performance Why options: Options allow traders to define risk, hedge exposures, and structure trades beyond simple directional stock positions. Maverick is one of the few proprietary trading firms that actively trades options as a core part of its trading approach. Compensation is a profit-split on trading performance, with no base salary. Top-tier traders earn 90% of their net trading profits.
