Job Description:

InGenesis is currently seeking a Computer Operator to work with our client in Jamaica, NY . In this role, you will be working at the NYS Veterans Home at St. Albans as a computer operator in the nursing department.

Job Duties

• Monitor and control electronic computer and peripheral electronic data processing equipment to process business, scientific, engineering, and other data according to operating instructions.
• Follow and understand instructions for development of final copy materials on word processing/computer equipment.
• Proofread and correct documents.
• May develop graphs, spreadsheets, charts, web pages, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Office Suite software packages and ability to learn within a reasonable time.

*Pay rate range commensurate on experience.
