Licensed Occupational Therapist

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Licensed Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. These roles are integral to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care to children and adolescents, particularly within school-based and early intervention settings. The ideal candidates will possess a passion for pediatric therapy, a strong foundation in clinical assessment, and a commitment to improving functional outcomes for young patients. All positions are paid and require active licensure in their respective fields.

American Focus Care, an Arizona-based DDD HCBS and Day Center provider expanding therapy services. The listing seeks licensed Occupational Therapists, to support DDD members with evaluations, care plans, and supervision.

*Responsibilities*

* Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual therapy needs, utilizing knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
* Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with best practices in pediatrics and early intervention strategies.
* Deliver evidence-based therapy services across occupational therapy disciplines to support developmental milestones.
* Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care plans and facilitate optimal patient progress.
* Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting interventions as necessary to maximize therapeutic outcomes.
* Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, assessments, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
* Promote a positive and engaging therapeutic environment that encourages active participation from children and their families.
* Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants

*Experience*

* Prior experience working with pediatric populations in school or early intervention settings is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of pediatric physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapy practices.
* Demonstrated proficiency in patient assessment techniques occupational therapy.
* Familiarity with common developmental disorders and early intervention protocols.
* Excellent communication skills tailored to effectively interact with children, families, educators, and healthcare teams.
