Job Title: Nurse Assistant

Full Time – 24 hours

Morning Shift

6:30 am – 7:00 pm

2x12 hours shift and Every other weekend

Dept 3600 Surg-Med ICU

Role Overview

As a Nurse Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring patient safety, comfort, and care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Your contributions directly support the RN in delivering high-quality care, responding to emergent situations, and fostering a compassionate patient experience. This role is essential to maintaining the standards of excellence at Henry Ford Health.

What You Will Need

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR current enrollment in a nursing program with successful completion of Fundamentals of Nursing OR foreign-trained RN without a Michigan RN license OR Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR at least one year of experience in a similar role.
• Complete BLS Heart Saver Certification during orientation.

Preferred

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
