Location: Jacksonville, Florida, 32257

Shift: Monday - Friday 1st Shift

Pay: $18-20/hour depending on experience

Job Description

The role involves operating various types of CNC Bar Saw machines. The successful candidate will read order specifications, accurately measure and mark materials using a tape measure, and then load, unload, and operate machinery with materials. You will be working primarily with titanium and different types of steel.

Responsibilities

• Operate different types of CNC Bar Saw machines.

• Read and interpret order specifications.

• Use a tape measure to mark materials accurately.

• Load and unload materials onto machinery.

• Operate machinery efficiently and safely while working with titanium and various steels.

Essential Skills

• Experience in saw operation, specifically with bar saws, for 1-2 years.

• Proficiency in reading a tape measure.

• Experience in machine operation and handling construction equipment.

• Ability to read blueprints and operate bandsaws, hand tools, and power tools.

• General labor skills including fabrication and production.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with forklift or material handling is advantageous.

Work Environment

This position is based in an open-air warehouse and machining area, providing a dynamic and active work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
