Title: Cardiology Physician - Hospital-Based in Greensboro, NC

Shift: Nights/Weekend - 8P-6A, 8P-7A, 5P-7A, 5P-6A, as needed for 1 week/month & 1 weekend/month (not consecutive)
Hours/Week: Varies by schedule
Employment Type: Contract
License/Certs: NC Medical License, DEA, ACLS, BLS
Experience: 1-2 years preferred
Certifications: Board Certification in Cardiology

Pay & Benefits

Hourly Rate: $232.44
Pay Package: Discussed upon application

What You'll Do

Consult on adult cardiology patients upon request
Manage E&M services and provide consultative care without procedural responsibilities
Read and interpret echocardiograms and nuclear studies
Collaborate with the hospital team to coordinate patient care under Cone Health Heartcare
Record all charges manually and maintain accurate documentation
Provide high-quality, patient-centered cardiology care during night and weekend shifts

What You Need

Active NC medical license and DEA license
Board Certification in Cardiology
ACLS and BLS certifications
1-2 years of cardiology experience preferred
Strong communication and clinical skills in adult cardiology
