• License/Certifications: NC State Medical License, Board Certified in Cardiology, DEA, ACLS & BLS
• Experience: 1-2 years minimum

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $232.44
• Benefits: Competitive pay packages, weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), paid sick time, licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements where applicable.
• Holiday Pay: 1.5x standard rate for major holidays

What You'll Do:

• Provide consults and E&M services for adult patients with cardiovascular issues
• Read Echo and nuclear studies performed in the hospital
• Collaborate with the care team managing patients admitted under Cone Health Heartcare
• Maintain manual logs of charges and patient interactions
• Support hospital efforts during scheduled night and weekend shifts as 2nd call provider
• Ensure compliance with hospital, medical standards, and documentation protocols
• Participate in scheduled shifts as per department needs (minimum 1 week/month, 1 weekend/month, non-consecutive shifts)

What You Need:

• Board certification in Cardiology
• Valid North Carolina medical license
• DEA certification
• ACLS & BLS certifications
• 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Strong consultative skills and ability to interpret echo/nuclear studies
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a hospital setting
