Medical Technologist

Company : Allegheny Health Network Jefferson Regional Medical Center seeks Medical Technologists (Multiple Openings) to work in Jefferson Hills, PA, to perform complex medical laboratory tests for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Responsibilities Perform routine and complex procedures using established criteria to provide quality clinical information. Verify analytic accuracy, precision, sensitivity, and linearity for clinical tests. Operate, calibrate, check, and maintain laboratory instrumentation. Work independently on afternoon and night shifts. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Medical Laboratory Science or a directly related field. American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Board Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist. ICHP VisaScreen Certificate, if applicable.
