Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with vascular training for a CVOR position in an Open Heart unit.

Details

• CVOR unit with 2 heart rooms and a possible 3rd
• Staffed with 4 RNs and 3 CSTs, including 1 CVOR RN and 1 CVOR CST on day shift
• No night shift, on-call coverage only
• 1:1 patient ratios
• EMR system is Meditech / CPN
• Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call required one weeknight per week and one weekend per month
• Performs CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of current CVOR Tech hospital experience
• BLS certification required
• NBSTSA Certification required
• Must be vascular trained
• Active KS state license required, if applicable
• ACLS certification preferred
• Open Heart and Cardiovascular experience preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
