About the Position

Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year current CVOR Tech hospital experience License: Current active Kansas licensure Certifications: BLS, NBSTA Certification Must-Have: Candidates must be vascular trained. Description: We are seeking a CVOR Tech for a travel assignment. The position operates from 7 AM to 5 PM. The unit includes open heart procedures. There are 2 heart rooms with a possibility of a 3rd. The staff consists of 4 RNs and 3 CSTs. The patient ratio is 1:1. The type of equipment used includes EMR Meditech/CPN. Typical procedures performed include CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR. Candidates must possess a confident demeanor and a positive attitude. Teamwork and communication with staff and providers are vital. On-call duty is required one weeknight per week and one weekend per month. An ECMO program is being restarted.
