5AM - 9AM Member Services Representative / Fitness TrainerThe 5AM - 9AM Member Services Representative / Fitness Trainer is a hybrid position responsible for creating a positive start to the day and the overall member experience through customer service excellence directed toward valued members, prospects, and guests. The Fitness Trainer element of this position may be responsible for running Planet Fitness group fitness programs (View email address on click.appcast.io). This includes assisting new members in the achievement of their fitness goals by designing a simple workout program and instructing them on the proper use of equipment. New or aspiring personal trainers are welcome to apply!Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesGreet members, prospective members and guests, providing exceptional customer service.Handle all front desk related activities including, but not limited to:Daily Open - Brand ExcellenceAnswer phones with candor and cordialityAssist with a variety of questions.Warmly greet and direct new and existing members, guests, and prospectsEager to engage new member enrollmentToursMember account maintenanceIncrease knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to answer questions and resolve concerns in a timely and professional manner and/or alert Assistant Manager or Club Manager, as needed.Assure club cleanliness and orderPeriodically conduct Planet Fitness View email address on click.appcast.io programs, including creating and following schedulesConsult with members regarding their fitness goals and instruct them on how to properly and safely use the equipmentCreate bi-weekly updates consisting of a variety of exercises.Meet class requirements based on club size and member trafficQualifications/RequirementsCustomer service and/or fitness experience preferredBasic computer proficiencyA passion for people, fitness, and healthUpbeat and positive attitude!Punctuality and reliability is mandatoryExceptional customer service skillsConsistently demonstrates a positive and professional way with members and co-workersExceeds member expectationsStrong listener.
