Industrial Maintenance TechnicianMaintain, troubleshoot and repair controls, drives, electronic motor devices, sensors, pumps, ovens, industrial machinery, conduit systems, & emergency lighting systems. Hours: 9:00PM – 5:30AM Sunday - Thursday Competitive Hourly Pay - $19 p/hr. + Monthly Profit Sharing Annual pay range without Overtime = $53,382.40 - $58,489.60 (includes profit sharing)Responsibilities: Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs following a scheduled PM program and as needed to keep the plant operational. Troubleshoot; routinely inspect equipment and electro-pneumatic controls as necessary on automated equipment. Knowledge of gas burner systems is beneficial. Report to Maintenance Manager on equipment condition and status as necessary. Assist in installation of all new equipment including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, electronic, and computer systems. Work overtime, as necessary, including on other shifts as well as being on call during periods. Use hand tools, power tools and precision measuring and testing equipment to perform maintenance activities. Maintain a clean work environment. Reduce machine downtime; improve throughput and overall performance of machines. Maintain/build preventative maintenance schedules by thoroughly documenting all issues, repairs, parts used, recommendations, etc. Meets established expectations and takes responsibility for achieving results; encourages others to do the same. Reports to the Maintenance Manager. Other responsibilities as assigned.Skills Needed: Proficient in reading work instructions. Must possess a sense of urgency on troubleshooting and repairing equipment for minimal downtime. Possess excellent project/assignment completion record. Ability to work independently. Ability to carry through self-directed projects and continuous improvement efforts. Must have innate desire to work and perform safely. Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Thorough Knowledge and Practice of LOTO.Physical Requirements: Must be able to work form heights using ladders and aerial lift devices Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently throughout a work shift. Ability to stand/walk constantly throughout a work shift. Ability to squat, bend/twist at waist, knees and neck, frequently. Ability to use both hands simultaneously exerting push/pull force of up to 125 lbs. frequently. Frequent reaching/handling/grasping.
