CONTRACT RECRUITER - MANUFACTURING & HOURLY WORKFORCE LOCATION DFW / North Dallas Area | 100% Onsite ASSIGNMENT DETAILS 4-6 week contract assignment Full-time, Monday-Friday Typical schedule of approximately 8:00 AM-5:00 PM or 8:30 AM-5:30 PM Some flexibility may be available based on business needs Immediate start preferred ROLE OVERVIEW A well-established manufacturing organization in the DFW area is seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to provide immediate recruiting support for a high-volume hourly workforce. This individual will step into an active recruiting environment with approximately 15 open positions and will be responsible for helping reduce an existing candidate and hiring backlog. The primary hiring focus will be production and machine-operation positions, along with several additional warehouse and manufacturing roles. This is a hands-on recruiting assignment for someone who can quickly assess existing candidate pipelines, communicate effectively with applicants, identify qualified talent, and move candidates efficiently through the hiring process. The ideal recruiter will have previous manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, or skilled-labor recruiting experience and be comfortable working independently with minimal day-to-day direction. This person should be confident speaking with hourly candidates, explaining job requirements clearly, and setting realistic expectations about working in a production environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage recruiting activity for approximately 15 active hourly manufacturing and warehouse openings. Focus heavily on recruiting production and machine-operation talent while supporting additional positions such as material handling, drilling, molding, equipment setup, and related manufacturing functions. Review and work existing candidate pipelines from major online job boards and recruiting platforms. Conduct high-volume candidate outreach through phone, text, email, job-board messaging, and other appropriate recruiting channels. Screen and pre-screen applicants to evaluate relevant work experience, employment history, schedule availability, compensation expectations, transportation reliability, and overall fit for the opportunity. Clearly communicate job responsibilities, schedules, physical requirements, workplace conditions, and hiring expectations before candidates advance in the interview process. Present qualified candidates to operational hiring leaders and help maintain consistent momentum throughout the selection process. Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between candidates and hiring teams. Maintain consistent candidate follow-up before and after interviews to reduce candidate drop-off and improve the overall recruiting experience. Re-engage qualified candidates who may already be in the recruiting pipeline but have not yet completed the hiring process. Help prioritize open positions based on immediate operational staffing needs. Track recruiting activity and maintain accurate candidate status information throughout the assignment. Identify recruiting bottlenecks and take initiative to move qualified candidates through the process. Provide hiring leaders with regular updates regarding candidate pipelines, interview activity, recruiting challenges, and market feedback. Represent the organization professionally and positively throughout every candidate interaction. Balance the need to effectively market opportunities while remaining transparent about the realities of the manufacturing work environment. Maintain confidentiality and follow appropriate hiring and employment practices. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years of recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, or related recruiting experience. Previous recruiting experience within manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, distribution, production, or a similar hourly workforce environment. Experience recruiting hourly or high-volume employee populations. Strong candidate screening and interviewing skills. Ability to independently manage multiple active openings and candidate pipelines. Experience using major online recruiting platforms, job boards, applicant databases, or similar sourcing tools. Strong phone communication and candidate-engagement skills. Ability to quickly establish rapport with candidates from a variety of backgrounds. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage candidate follow-up, interview scheduling, and multiple hiring priorities simultaneously. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where hiring needs may change quickly. Ability to work onsite five days per week for the duration of the assignment. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills strongly preferred. Previous staffing-agency, high-volume recruiting, or onsite recruiting experience. Experience recruiting machine operators, production employees, material handlers, warehouse associates, equipment operators, molding personnel, or similar positions. Experience recruiting for non-climate-controlled manufacturing or industrial environments. Familiarity with recruiting candidates through platforms such as Indeed, ZipRecruiter, or comparable job boards. Experience entering an established recruiting process and quickly taking ownership of active candidate pipelines. Experience supporting urgent or project-based hiring initiatives. WHAT WILL MAKE SOMEONE SUCCESSFUL The strongest candidate will be outgoing, approachable, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of the recruiting process from the first candidate conversation through interview scheduling and follow-up. This recruiter should understand that successful hourly recruiting requires more than simply identifying applicants. Candidate communication, responsiveness, and expectation- setting will be critical. Candidate communication, responsiveness, and expectation- Someone who is proactive, comfortable making a high volume of calls, able to build rapport quickly, and motivated by getting qualified candidates in front of hiring leaders will be particularly successful in this assignment. Because this is a short-term project designed to address immediate hiring needs, the recruiter must be able to get up to speed quickly, work independently, and begin producing results with minimal training or supervision. #J-18808-Ljbffr
