What You’ll Do

• Keep machinery and mechanical equipment running smoothly from raw ingredients to finished product
• Perform preventative maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines
• Troubleshoot and repair issues using diagrams, sketches, manuals, and test instruments
• Maintain accurate logs and maintenance reports while using the work order system
• Coordinate with shift supervisors to quickly address mechanical, electrical, and maintenance needs
• Manage and account for tools and spare parts, anticipating future needs
• Collaborate with Quality Control to maintain the highest product standards
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, stretch wrappers, and other equipment safely
• Work safely with high-temperature oils and in a fast-paced, wet, oily, and noisy environment
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and communicate effectively with the team
• Follow GMPs, food safety requirements, and company policies
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or upper management

What You Bring

• Background or strong interest in equipment maintenance
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and programming Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
• Technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of basic safety and power tools
• Ability to adapt, stay organized, and work independently
• Dependability and flexibility in a fast-paced setting
• Clear communication skills (verbal, written, and digital)

Physical & Environmental Demands

• 12 hour shifts
• Continuous standing, walking, reaching, pushing, pulling, and grasping
• Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Occasionally working near loud noise, moving parts, high heat, cold, and chemicals
• Strong reasoning, memory, math, and language skills required

Salary- Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience, determined following the interview process.

This position will be working either our B Shift (Mon-Wed 6:50pm-7:00am) or D Shift (Th-Sat 6:50pm-7:00am)
