Experienced RV Service Technician

Experienced RV TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled and dependable Experienced RV Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will independently diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of RV systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and chassis components. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction, shop efficiency, and overall service quality.Key ObjectivesLead complex diagnostics and repairs to ensure timely and accurate service on a wide range of RV makes and modelsSupport service department performance by mentoring junior technicians and contributing to a collaborative, high-quality work environmentMaintain a high standard of workmanship that enhances customer satisfaction and promotes repeat businessResponsibilitiesInspect units for customer salesLearn and execute a Get Ready and customer orientationDiagnose and repair RV systems including but not limited to: electric (AC/DC), plumbing, propane, appliances, HVAC, chassis, and structural componentsInstall aftermarket accessories such as solar panels, satellite systems, leveling jacks, hitches, and awningsComplete pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and prepare units for customer deliveryMaintain accurate service records, parts usage, and time trackingProvide guidance and on-the-job training to entry-level and mid-level techniciansEnsure all work complies with safety regulations and dealership standardsKeep workspace organized, clean, and stocked with essential tools and materialsWhat You'll Bring4+ years of hands-on RV repair or related mechanical/electrical experienceStrong working knowledge of RV systems, components, and repair proceduresRVTI certificationAbility to work independently and as a team leaderHave a set of personal toolsThe ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for long periods of timeThe ability to lift anywhere from 25 to 50 lbs with an assistive deviceWork in environments that include heat, cold, dust, and loud noisesFlexibility with work schedules; including Saturdays (we are always closed on Sundays)Neat, clean, and professional appearanceAbility to pass a background and drug testDemonstrate alignment with the Company's vision, mission, and core values in all interactionsExpected ResultsConsistently deliver accurate, high-quality repairs with minimal reworkHelp improve shop efficiency and service turnaround timesSupport technician development and contribute to a positive team environmentContribute to increased customer satisfaction and service department efficiencyResourcesPaid training sessions and certification opportunitiesPersonal protective equipment (PPE) and uniformsCareer advancement paths within the companySupportive management team and an organized work environmentOpportunities for advancement and leadership within the service departmentWho We AreBish's RV is one of the largest family-owned RV dealers in the country.
