Overview Pride Health is hiring a Data Intake Specialist to support our client's medical office in Pearland, TX 77584. This is a 6-month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion). Job Details Job Name: Data Intake Specialist Contract type: Local Contract Location: Pearland, TX 77584 Duration: 6-month Contract (Possibilities of extension) Pay rate: $12-$13/hr. On W2 (Pay Rate is based on experience) Schedule: Mon - Fri (5 days/wk) 8-hour shift between 8 AM and 6:30 PM Responsibilities Data Collection and Input: Gathering and accurately entering patient and plan member information into healthcare enrollment and grievance tracking systems. Document Management: Organizing, maintaining, and reviewing physical and electronic records and forms, ensuring completion, accuracy, and adherence to regulatory requirements. Appeals and Grievances Management: Handling incoming requests. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all applicable healthcare laws, including HIPAA, ACA, CMS guidelines, and state regulations related to enrollment, appeals, and grievances. Qualifications High School, GED or equivalent. 1+ years of relevant experience.
