Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines across the care team
• Utilize critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in clinical decision-making
• Support an Epic EMR conversion, including accurate and timely documentation within the system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Recent Epic and Cerner experience within the last 5 years; proficiency in both systems required
• Each work history entry must identify the charting system used; if multiple EMR systems were used in one role, dates clarifying usage of each system must be provided
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor (BLS, HS-BLS, or RQI BLS accepted)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Must have successfully completed prior employment or a contract with a healthcare organization

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Acute care facility experience
