Patient Care Coordinator
Freehold, NJ

Hours:

• Hours of Operation: 7:00a – 7:00p
• 40 hours/week: 8hr shifts + 1 late shift/week

Responsibilities:

• Triaging and managing incoming communications from patients, pharmacies, insurance companies, hospitals, and physician offices, routing them to the correct parties.
• Coordinating patient scheduling, which includes booking appointments, following up on missed visits, and managing the doctors' daily calendars.
• Verifying insurance coverage online and managing complex authorizations for motor vehicle accident (MVA) and workers' compensation cases.
• Tracking patient compliance by ensuring prescribed testing (like imaging and labs) is completed and that corresponding follow-up visits are scheduled.
• Processing administrative paperwork, including preparing patient-requested disability or MVA forms, handling legal document requests from attorneys, and ensuring provider documentation is complete.
• Monitoring digital communication channels, such as the Snap Engage webchat daily, and responding to inquiries promptly.
• Creating accurate electronic medical notes, general records, and telephone encounter logs within the patient management system.
• Serving as a vital liaison between patients, external departments, and healthcare providers while educating patients on practice policies and CDC guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Patient care coordinator experience (3+ years)
• Orthopedic/Pain Management experience
• Knowledge of insurance verification
• EMR experience

Compensation:

• $22-25/hr

You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
