At the present time, we are looking for an experienced individual to fill the role of Direct Support Personnel. The right candidate will be responsible for providing compassionate care and assistance to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. _*RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES*_
* Provide supervision and guidance for residents during skills building activities
* Develop and implement individual treatment plans for residents
* Assist with daily living activities, including preparing meals and assisting with personal hygiene
* Develop a rapport with residents and cultivate a safe and supportive relationship
* Update resident case notes on a daily basis
* Ensure an appropriate staff-to-client ratio at all times

_*QUALIFICATIONS*_
* High school diploma/GED required
* Valid drivers license
* No previous criminal record
* Current First Aid and CPR certification
* Ability to pass a background check and drug test

_*SKILLS*_
* Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
* Compassionate about the care and well-being of others
* Possesses detailed knowledge of patient’s condition, symptoms, and medications
* Demonstrates awareness of proper first aid and emergency response procedures

Job Type: Part-time/Sub-flex

Pay: $11.00 - $12.75 per hour
Rate increase after 90 days to $13.00 based on performance.

Shifts: 2nd or 3rd
