Key Responsibilities of the MRI Technologist

• Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures
• Provide support for other imaging technologists as needed
• Facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow
• Troubleshoot basic maintenance and resolve issues related to image processing
• Participate in ongoing education and technical advances within your scope of licensure
• Provide basic MRI screening of patients and employees
• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards of care
• Work other shifts and/or at other campuses as needed

Requirements of the MRI Technologist

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) certification from ARRT or ARMRIT
• BLS certification required
