Job Overview:

Pay Range: $50.00hr - $55.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

• Administration and management of production databases.
• Basic to advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Backup, recovery, and monitoring of databases.
• Security assessment and review of database administration and access.
• Design, configuration, deploying, troubleshooting, administration, and maintaining systems.
• Ensuring project and workload documentation and process are accurate, on time, and stored properly.
• Considerable working background in Microsoft SQL database administration.
• Knowledge of moving or migrating databases, as well as systems validation after migration.
• Experience with SQL versions ranging from 2008 to 2019.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with migrating existing databases from one hosted platform to a new hosted platform.
• Manage architecture and troubleshooting in a production environment.
• Handle database administration and backup/recovery management.
• Perform daily break/fix incident response on the SQL environment.
• Execute updates, restores, and recovery tasks as required.
• Support a SQL migration project moving from end-of-life hardware to a new solution.
• Communicate effectively within a team environment with peers and stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Oracle databases.
