Aquatics Leadership - up to $17.50

Overview: This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operation and providing support in the aquatics department. Job and Career Building Skills Flexible scheduling Responsibilities: Responsibilities Include: * Ensuring the safe operation of the park. * Assist with the aquatics work crew projects. * Assisting with overseeing the aquatics staff through daily training, coaching, discipline, and rewards as necessary. * Assisting with department and division training. * Works an assigned life guarding / ride attendant position when necessary * Receive and maintain a High Pass / Exceeds in all Ellis and Department Audits * Working with Operations Staff to ensure department and park goals are achieved. * Ensuring Guest First Standards are followed and enforced. * Maintaining high throughput goals. * Handling guest comments and complaints. * Ensuring all training requirements and testing procedures are adhered to as set forth by Six Flags. * Other tasks assigned by Aquatics or Park Management team. Payrate: $15.50 - $17.50/hr. Qualifications: * At least 1 - 2 years of aquatics experience (lifeguard, ride attendant) * Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. * Must possess an enthusiastic and positive Guest First Orientation and enjoy working with people. * Ability to motivate with excellent leadership skills. * Must be self-motivated. * Must achieve, receive and maintain Ellis and Associates Special Facilities Certification. * Outstanding performance as a team member. * Must be able to respond immediately, adapt to, and oversee all emergency situations. * Strong attention to detail. * Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Physical Requirements : * Must be able to walk and stand for up to 8 or more hours at a time. Applicants must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds.
