ICU RN - Strongsville, Ohio

An exciting contract opportunity is available for an experienced ICU Registered Nurse eager to provide high-quality care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This position requires adaptability, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to thrive in diverse inpatient settings.


Schedule/Hours:

• Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation

Qualifications:

• Valid and active RN license (Ohio)
• Minimum of one year ICU nursing experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to float to all inpatient areas including Stepdown and Med/Surg units
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Solid communication and teamwork skills
• Experience adapting to varying patient populations and meeting nurse-to-patient ratios (1:4)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU and other inpatient departments as needed
• Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimum patient outcomes
• Administer medications, treatments, and manage patient ventilators and drips
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with facility protocol
• Support and comfort patients & families during challenging situations
• Float between ICU, Stepdown, and Med/Surg units as assigned
