This full-time position is remote, allowing you to provide impactful counseling services to individuals, couples, and families from the comfort of your own home. This role is designed to offer the flexibility that today's mental health professionals seek. Working remotely, you will have the autonomy to manage your caseload effectively, with expectations of providing between 10-30 billable hours per week. Our therapists benefit from an organized infrastructure, where administrative tasks are handled by our support staff, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality therapy. Additionally, while all client interactions will primarily occur via telehealth services, there are opportunities for remote or in-person group consultations and interdisciplinary team meetings to enhance collaboration.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and provide short-term psychotherapy for individuals, families, and groups.

• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities, including crisis intervention, supportive therapy, and family systems therapy, tailored to meet client needs.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including licensed psychologists, nurse practitioners, and other health professionals, to develop and implement tailored treatment plans.

• Stay informed about current best practices and regulatory guidelines while maintaining a high level of clinical competency.
\n
• Document therapy sessions thoroughly, prepare reports, and communicate effectively with external parties when approved by clients.

• Participate actively in clinical team meetings to discuss treatment strategies, patient progress, and quality assurance measures.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will engage with include veterans, active-duty military members, and their families experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and dual disorders. Your expertise as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will be invaluable in providing holistic care that addresses familial and relational dynamics as well as individual mental health needs.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or a Psy.D, recognized and active in the state of New York.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited university.

• A minimum of two years of direct experience providing psychotherapy services.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health records is essential.

• Prior experience working with military populations or in crisis intervention settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We value the essential work our therapists provide and offer a salary range of USD 75,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
