Description of Responsibilities

• Execute a range of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and specialty imaging
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout procedures, clearly explaining each phase with empathy and clarity
• Engage collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Thoroughly document imaging procedures and maintain accurate patient records through our electronic medical systems
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging procedures and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or applicable discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

• Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging and patient positioning
