Truck Gate Security Officer

Compensation Wage: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour. Work Schedule Part time: Friday and Saturday, 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM. Full time: Saturday, Monday through Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM. Qualifications More than 2 years of security experience and/or previous law enforcement, corrections, or military experience. Will check in truck trailers. Must be able to work outdoors. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be comfortable with computers and technology. Must have good communication skills. Must have good report‑writing skills. Job Responsibilities Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Assist with customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring premises, including patrolling various locations, preserving order, and enforcing regulations and directives. Physical Requirements Frequent sitting, standing, and walking; may include climbing stairs and walking on uneven terrain.
