Job Summary:
The position is for a Nursing Supervisor located in Bethpage, New York. This role involves supervising and coordinating staff and daily operations of Central Sterile services at a large, busy off-site reprocessing center. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The supervisor will oversee sterilization techniques, ensure proper documentation, serve as a liaison between departments, and ensure proper handling of instrumentation. The shift is scheduled from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with every third weekend required, for a total of 8 hours per shift and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current Registered Central Supply Technician Certification (CRCST or CSPD) that does not expire during the assignment; 5+ years of relevant leadership/management experience; Associate Degree required, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience; ability to lift/carry 25 pounds; manual dexterity; ability to stand, bend, lift, and reach for extended periods; effective communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Additional Information: Scrubs provided and must be laundered at the facility. Shoes, jewelry, hair, and beard coverings are required; no nail polish.
• Location: Bethpage, New York.
