Senior Procurement Multi-Family Manager (Level M) – Space Launch Systems – Huntsville, Alabama Position Responsibilities Leads Supply Chain activities for Space Launch Systems team supporting the Avionics IPT Performance‑to‑Plan for supplier design, production, testing & qualification Manages procurement plans and transactional activities for all Avionics suppliers Oversees teammates co‑located at critical suppliers Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier‑related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements Manages employees and mid level managers from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals and objectives Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports Provides oversight regarding negotiation strategies, processes and related tools Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid‑level managers Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or higher More than 5 years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem‑solving skills More than 5 years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Processes More than 3 years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams Preferred Qualifications Experience with strategy and negotiations of supplier settlements Additional Requirements Position requires 100% onsite work in Huntsville, Alabama 1st shift NASA access required – the position requires the ability to obtain access to a NASA facility Export control compliance – U.S. Person needed (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) Travel may be required up to 25% of the time Relocation offered based on candidate eligibility Drug‑free workplace – employees subject to drug testing per policy Pay & Benefits At Boeing, the Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities.
