Software Engineer – Hiring Fast!
Industry: Utility
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay Rate: $80-90/HR on W2 Only – NO C2C
Setting: Hybrid Required (Remote is NOT an Option) Duration: 12+ months
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to work effectively in a Scrum of Scrums, team-based environment
- Ability to research independently, multi-task, and meet deadlines under tight timeframes
- Strong customer, quality, and results orientation
- Strong expertise in programming/scripting with Python, bash, etc.
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to code review in Python and other languages like Java, GoLang, C/C++, etc. without the use of AI.
- Strong knowledge of Django ORM and Celery
- Hands-on of orchestration and automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Terraform
- Hands-on experience with Github Actions for CI/CD.
- Experience with Linux/Unix based systems.
- Working knowledge of backend systems like Postgres.
Desired Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, and routing protocols like BGP and OSPF
- Exposure to monitoring/observability tools and API-driven network management
- Proficiency in container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
